Since the dawning of time, much of the world has changed...
Long before the time of man, the wisest members of an ancient dragon race forged an amulet from the fires of the gods. Within this one amulet was the power to govern all Dragons. But the Dragons were deceived...
Blair, the amulets' creator, kept it to himself, using it only for evil...
...But there were those that resisted.
On the cliffs of the Black Mountains the dragons of the realm fought Blair. In a single moment he was slain, by the very creatures he wished to control.
Those that fought against Blair, knew nothing of his heir -- the one dragon that could change their future.
With the power of the amulet lying dormant in the Black Mountains, what few of Blair's followers remained used black magic and the fire of the gods, to bring their leader back to life. Their intention -- Pure evil.
A shadowed flame that never rested.
Blair wanted his amulet back, with control over his followers he sent them out never to stop looking for the amulet
Any soul that dared to fight Blair, would not come out alive. The few that tried, were condemned to death.
Blair's powers weakened over time -- he lay still for more then five thousand years. During this time the bravest of the Dragon race knew it was time to side with the humans, to help rid the world of this evil once and for all.
The story starts at Dragon city where you see Lord Oberon and Lendara walking down a Hall. As Ardeth comes up to them to tell them that a scout has returned from a patrol they set out over a month ago. When Oberon sees the scout he is half dead. Oberon try's to help him as much as he can but with all the injuries he got from being attacked my black dragons he is not able to be saved.
Oberon looks at Ardeth and with out speaking Ardeth knew what he wanted. Ardeth runs out to see spike his white dragon, with 2 long gold horns coming from his head and one small horn on his nose. Spike has Crystal blue eyes that blue Royal blue when he is in rage. Spike knows what Ardeth wants and flies off to do so. As spike flies around the valley with cliffs and hills everyone he goes to look for the Knights of the Realm the only knights that travel with dragons. He finds them all scattered around the valley and then more. When spike gets back to the castle Oberon is waiting for him outside. He tells Oberon that he has found them all and that they are on there way.
One by one they all arrive, first Derrick then Odin, and Max. Oberon comes out side to great them. And to make sure they have not been harmed. As in doing so he turns to Ardeth and asked to get Lendara and meet them in the ready room. Oberon takes the knights to the ready room and on the way there Max shares his dislike for Ardeth with the others and to Lord Oberon.
When they reach the ready room Oberon tells them how they can rid themselves of this evil they know as Blair. But they must set out to find an Amulet that only dragons can control. This made everyone uneasy, they all knew if Blair found this amulet he could control the world.. And to the knights that was not a good thing at all.
As the knights set out to find this Amulet they ran in to there first problem on the first night out.
